Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using talan.tech, the AI Readiness Assessment, the Talantir platform, or any other Talan.tech product or service (collectively the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Who we are

The Services are operated by Talan.tech, with offices in Lisbon (Portugal), Calgary (Canada), and Kyiv (Ukraine). For any question regarding these Terms, contact us at hello@talan.tech.

3. Use of the Services

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. You agree not to (a) attempt to disrupt or compromise system integrity or security, (b) reverse engineer the Services, (c) use the Services to build a competing product, or (d) scrape, harvest, or use automated means to access the Services beyond what is explicitly allowed by our robots.txt.

4. Accounts

Some Services require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. Intellectual property

All content, software, designs, trademarks, and documentation on the Services are owned by Talan.tech or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Services for your own internal use.

6. Assessment results

AI Readiness Assessment results are provided as informational guidance. They are not legal, compliance, or investment advice, and they do not constitute a certification under the EU AI Act. Formal conformity assessments are performed by Notified Bodies.

7. Talantir certification

A Talantir Certified badge reflects the result of our automated security test suite at the time of testing. It is not a guarantee of future performance or freedom from vulnerabilities. Customers must perform their own risk assessment before relying on any certified AI agent in production.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talan.tech disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talan.tech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Services or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, unless mandatory consumer-protection law grants you another forum.
